My favorite games since the year 2010

There are a ton of great games journalists out there, but easily the most prolific of us all is GamesBeat’s Dean Takahashi. I’ve seen him at pretty much every event in the industry for the last decade (since I got my internship at OXM in 2011) and I can say with absolute certainty that Dean doesn’t miss a beat. (Dum tiss.)

Recently Dean posted his list of his favorite games of the last 13 years, so I thought I’d follow suit.

What makes 2010 the perfect year to start this list? I mean, I’ve playing games for much, much longer than that. However, 2010 is the year that I actually started tracking the number of games I’ve completed, which means all of these games are ones I’ve played all the way through. I’ve beaten 206 games since I’ve started this list, but these are the ones that stand out over a decade later.

  • Mass Effect 2 (2010)
  • God of War 3 (2010)
